8" quarter round Sextant with vernier. Replica made in polished brass. A beautiful instrument for nautical collectors to display on the desk. And it is packed in a sheesham wood box decorated with brass inlay. The box measures approximately 12" x10.25" x5.5" deep.
Sheesham wood is more commonly known as Indian Rosewood. The trees deciduous and the wood is a hardwood native to the Indian subcontinent.
